Welcome! I am a Chemistry Education Researcher at UCSB. My research investigates how cultivating metacognitive growth transforms undergraduate chemistry laboratories and helps students successfully transfer technical skills to advanced research. I also direct graduate TA professional development to build inclusive, evidence-based STEM learning environments.

We believe that becoming a scientist isn't just about mastering techniques—it's about learning how to think, reflect, and grow. Our group is committed to demystifying higher education and supporting first-generation and underrepresented students in STEM.
